ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) transponder is a small wireless communication device installed in a vehicle for electronic tolling purpose.   Ultra-high Radio Frequency Identification (UHF RFID), with frequency band between 860MHz and 960MHz, is contactless and automatic identification technology that identifies and programs target (generally RFID tag attached on the object) without any human intervention.   ETC electronic toll collection  is an automatic toll system  applied to expressways, toll bridges and tunnels. Generally, the system collects the toll via wireless communication between in-vehicle transponders and roadside transceivers, and conducts settlement processing with banks via computer network.
